Everything You Need to Know

Detailed answers about working with us — from MOQ and pricing to shipping and sustainability. If your question isn't here, reach out and we'll respond within 24 hours.

Getting Started

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Our MOQ depends on the material and order type. For catalog items in silver, we start at 25 pieces per design. For custom designs, the typical MOQ is 50-100 pieces per design. Gold jewelry has lower MOQs due to higher per-piece value. We're flexible with first-time buyers who are testing the market — talk to us and we'll work something out.

How do I place my first order?

Contact us through our website or email with your requirements. We discuss your needs, share our catalog, and provide pricing. Once you select designs, we produce samples for your approval. After sample approval, we move to bulk production. The entire process from first contact to delivery typically takes 4-6 weeks.

Can I order samples before committing to bulk?

Absolutely. We encourage all new buyers to order samples first. Sample charges cover the actual material and labor cost. For silver pieces, samples typically cost $15-40 per piece. For gold, it depends on weight. Sample charges are often adjusted against your first bulk order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank wire transfer (T/T), PayPal for smaller orders and samples, and Letter of Credit for large orders. Standard terms are 50% advance and 50% before shipping. For established clients with a track record, we offer more flexible payment arrangements.

Pricing & Costs

How much does custom jewelry manufacturing cost per piece?

Pricing depends on material, weight, design complexity, stone type, and plating. Rough ranges: a simple 925 silver ring without stones starts around $3-5 per piece at bulk. A silver pendant with CZ stones runs $5-12. Gold-plated brass fashion jewelry ranges $2-8 per piece. 18K gold is priced based on daily gold rates plus making charges. We provide detailed quotations within 24-48 hours.

Is there a design fee for custom CAD work?

For orders above our standard MOQ, design fees are typically waived. For standalone design work or very complex pieces, we charge $30-80 per design depending on complexity. This covers the full 3D CAD model with rendered images. The fee is credited back when you place a production order.

Do you offer volume discounts for large orders?

Yes. A design that costs $6 per piece at 100 units might come down to $4.50 at 500 units and $3.80 at 1000+. We also offer better terms for repeat clients — extended payment windows and priority production scheduling.

What's included in the per-piece price?

Everything: raw material, casting, stone setting, polishing, plating, quality inspection, individual packaging, and basic tags. Custom branded packaging, special certificates, and shipping are quoted separately. No hidden charges — what we quote is what you pay.

Materials & Products

What materials do you work with?

We manufacture in 18K gold (yellow, rose, white), 14K gold, 925 sterling silver, and brass. Plating options include gold, rhodium, rose gold, and black rhodium using German and Swiss solutions. We work with over 200 natural gemstone varieties including diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, topaz, garnet, amethyst, and more.

Do you use recycled gold and silver?

Yes. All our precious metals come from SGS certified recycled sources. Recycled gold and silver are chemically identical to newly mined metals — no difference in quality or purity. We provide documentation for brands that want to communicate their sustainability story.

Are your gemstones natural or lab-created?

We work with both natural and lab-created stones depending on your preference and budget. All stones are clearly identified and documented. Our in-house gemstone facility handles cutting, shaping, and faceting for over 200 natural varieties.

What types of jewelry do you manufacture?

Rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, and chains. Our range covers fine jewelry in gold with diamonds and precious stones, everyday silver jewelry with semi-precious gemstones, and fashion jewelry in plated brass. We serve both women's and men's jewelry segments.

Gold Jewelry Manufacturing

What gold karats do you manufacture in?

We manufacture in 9K, 14K, 18K, and 22K gold. 18K is most popular for export — best balance of purity, durability, and color. We work in yellow, white (rhodium-plated), and rose gold. All gold jewelry is BIS hallmarked with HUID numbers verifiable on the government portal.

How is gold jewelry pricing calculated?

Two components: gold value (weight × daily rate × karat purity) plus making charges (8-15% of gold value depending on complexity). We lock the gold rate at order confirmation, so you're protected from price fluctuations during production.

Do you provide BIS Hallmark on gold jewelry?

Yes. Every gold piece is BIS hallmarked with a unique HUID number laser-engraved and registered in the national database. For private label clients, the hallmark is registered under your company's BIS license. If you don't have one yet, we guide you through registration.

Can you manufacture lightweight gold jewelry?

Yes — it's one of our specialties. Using advanced casting and hollow construction, we create pieces that look substantial but weigh significantly less. Earrings that look like 5 grams can be engineered to weigh 2.5-3 grams without compromising appearance.

Silver Jewelry Manufacturing

What is 925 sterling silver and how do you verify purity?

925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper for strength. We verify purity using our Helmut Fischer XRF analyzer on every batch — not random sampling. The XRF gives readings accurate to 0.01%. Every batch ships with a purity certificate.

What plating options are available for silver jewelry?

Rhodium (bright white, prevents tarnishing), gold plating (1-5 micron), rose gold, black rhodium (gunmetal look), and two-tone combinations. We use Umicore Swiss solutions applied through Walter Lemmen German electroplating equipment.

How long does silver plating last?

Depends on micron thickness. 1-micron gold plating lasts 6-12 months with regular wear. 3-micron lasts 2-3 years. 5-micron can last 4-5 years. Rhodium on silver typically lasts 1-2 years. We recommend the right thickness based on your market and price point.

Do you manufacture silver jewelry with natural gemstones?

Yes — one of our strongest categories. We combine 925 silver with blue topaz, amethyst, garnet, peridot, citrine, moonstone, labradorite, turquoise, and many more. Our in-house cutting facility offers custom stone shapes and calibrated sizes.

Gemstones & Stone Setting

How many types of gemstones do you work with?

Over 200 natural varieties. Precious stones (diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires), semi-precious (topaz, amethyst, garnet, peridot, citrine, tourmaline, tanzanite, aquamarine), and ornamental (turquoise, lapis lazuli, moonstone, labradorite, opal). Also cubic zirconia in all colors for fashion lines.

Are your gemstones ethically sourced?

Yes. We source from suppliers who document origin and handling. Kimberley Process for diamonds, chain-of-custody for coloured stones. Our practices align with Responsible Jewellery Council guidelines. We provide origin documentation on request.

What stone setting techniques do you use?

Prong setting, bezel setting, pavé, channel setting, invisible setting, and flush/gypsy setting. Our setters are trained in all techniques and we recommend the best option based on your design, stone type, and target market.

Can you source specific gemstones for my designs?

Yes. Being based in Jaipur — India's gemstone capital — gives us direct access to the world's largest coloured gemstone market. Turnaround for sourcing unusual stones is 1-2 weeks. We send photos and pricing for approval before purchasing.

Custom Design & OEM

Can you produce custom designs from my sketches?

Yes. Our 50+ in-house CAD designers work from hand sketches, reference images, Pinterest boards, or existing CAD files. We create a 3D model for approval before production. 2-3 revision rounds included, design fee often waived for bulk orders.

Do you offer private label and OEM services?

Yes — it's one of our core services. We produce jewelry under your brand name with custom packaging, branded boxes, tags, and laser-engraved logos. Your customers never know the manufacturing origin. Full NDA available. MOQ 100 pieces per design.

What is the typical production timeline?

Catalog items: 2-3 weeks. Custom designs: 3-5 weeks including CAD approval and sampling. Rush orders can be done in 15-20 days for an additional fee. We send regular progress updates with photos during production.

Can I modify existing designs from your catalog?

Absolutely. Most clients start from our catalog and request modifications — different stone colors, metal type, plating finish, sizing adjustments, or adding/removing elements. Modifications are straightforward and usually don't add significant time or cost.

Shipping & Quality

Which countries do you ship to?

We ship worldwide to 15+ countries including USA, UK, Germany, France, Singapore, UAE, Australia, Canada, and more. DHL, FedEx, and UPS with full insurance, tracking, and export documentation handled by our team.

How do you ensure quality consistency?

Every piece is individually inspected through our 7-point QC process. Fischer XRF verifies metal purity and plating thickness on every batch. Stone settings tested for security. Weight verified against specs. Defect rate under 2%, and we replace any piece that doesn't meet standards.

What certifications do you hold?

ISO 9001:2015 certified, GJEPC registered member, BIS hallmark authorized, IAF accredited, SGS recycled metals verified. We maintain full compliance with international export standards and Responsible Jewellery Council guidelines.

What happens if I receive defective pieces?

We replace any piece that doesn't meet agreed specifications at no cost. Send photos of the issue and we arrange replacement in the next shipment. For significant concerns, we offer full refund or credit toward your next order.

Sustainability & Ethics

What makes your manufacturing sustainable?

100% recycled gold and silver (SGS verified), 120KW rooftop solar panels, 90%+ water recycling through STP/ETP systems, zero-landfill waste policy, LED lighting throughout, and closed-loop water systems in plating and polishing departments.

Can I use your sustainability credentials in my marketing?

Absolutely. We provide SGS recycled metals certificates, solar energy data, water recycling statistics, and conflict-free sourcing declarations. Many private label clients use these in product descriptions and marketing materials.

Do you comply with EU and US sustainability reporting?

Yes. Our documentation supports EU CSRD requirements and US FTC Green Guides compliance. We provide specific, verifiable data: recycled content percentages, energy source breakdown, water usage, and waste management records.

What are your labour practices?

Living wages above local minimum, health insurance, paid leave, skill development training. Zero child labour. Regular third-party social compliance audits. Proper ventilation, safety equipment, fire safety, and ergonomic workstations. Unannounced factory visits welcome.

Packaging & Branding

What custom packaging options do you offer?

Branded jewelry boxes, velvet/satin pouches, shopping bags, tissue paper with your logo, custom inserts, and display cards. Materials range from recycled kraft for eco-brands to premium leatherette for luxury. Produced in-house, MOQ 200-500 units.

Can you laser-engrave my brand logo on pieces?

Yes. Precision laser engraving on ring interiors, pendant backs, earring posts, or clasp tags. Permanent, precise, doesn't affect finish. For gold, BIS hallmark and your brand mark are both laser-engraved as standard.

Do you provide product photography?

We provide high-resolution QC photos of finished pieces before shipping. For professional e-commerce photography with styled backgrounds or model shots, we can arrange this as an additional service.

International Buyers

Do you handle export documentation and customs?

Yes, completely. Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, shipping bill, and country-specific documentation. For EU we provide compliance declarations. For US, we handle HS code classification. Your shipment arrives fully cleared.

What are import duties on jewelry from India?

Varies by country. US: gold jewelry ~6.5%, silver 0-5%, fashion 5-11%. EU: 0-4% for precious metals, 4% for fashion. UK similar post-Brexit. We declare accurate HS codes to ensure correct duty. We can provide estimated landed costs before you order.

Can you ship to Amazon FBA warehouses directly?

Yes. We regularly ship to Amazon FBA in US, UK, and EU. We follow Amazon's requirements — FNSKU labels, poly bagging, carton labeling, and shipment plans. We've done this many times and know exactly what Amazon expects.

Do you work with buyers from USA, UK, Europe, and Middle East?

Yes — these are our primary markets. We export to the US, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Australia, Canada, and more. We understand quality expectations and compliance requirements for each region.

What's the best way to communicate during production?

Most international clients use WhatsApp for daily updates — fast, supports photos/videos, works across time zones. Email for formal communications and documentation. Zoom/Google Meet for design discussions. Dedicated account manager responds within a few hours.

Technical Specifications

What casting method do you use?

Lost-wax casting (investment casting) on our German Schultheiss plant. A wax model is created, coated in plaster, heated to melt the wax, then molten metal fills the cavity. Extremely precise with fine detail reproduction — the industry standard for quality jewelry.

What's the difference between gold-plated and gold-filled?

Gold-plated has a thin layer (0.5-5 microns) via electroplating. Gold-filled has a much thicker layer (5%+ of total weight) mechanically bonded. Gold-filled lasts longer but costs more. We primarily do gold-plated as it offers the best balance for most markets. Gold-filled available on request.

How do you ensure nickel-free compliance for EU?

EU REACH limits nickel release to 0.5 µg/cm²/week for skin-contact items. We use nickel-free alloys and apply barrier layers under plating. Fischer XRF verifies nickel content. For EU orders, we provide nickel-free compliance declarations with test results.

What's the difference between rhodium plating and silver?

Rhodium is a platinum-family metal. Rhodium plating gives a brighter, whiter finish than bare silver and prevents tarnishing. Silver without rhodium will tarnish over time. We apply rhodium as standard on all 925 silver unless you request otherwise.
